How the voice works - an
Introduction to Estill Voice Training
Practical solutions for singing, speaking and teaching
This interactive workshop at the legendary Club Farense in Faro covers all the big ideas of the Estill Model and offers inspiration and practical solutions for singers, speakers, voice teachers, vocal coaches, choral directors, and speech and language therapists.
We will cover Estill Voice Training's 13 figures for voice and also the 6 voice qualities: Speech, Falsetto, Sob, Twang, Opera and Belt.
Limited to a maximum of 35 participants, it's a safe space for exploration with opportunities for individual feedback throughout the day (but there is no pressure to participate!).
Four Open Coaching slots will also be offered on a first come, first served basis. This is a chance to work on a section of a song or speech of your choice and apply the techniques we are exploring.
Estill Voice Training (EVT) offers innovative solutions for all voice users to realise their full vocal potential. It’s a scientific approach focusing on the craft of voice production in which structures of the voice are trained in isolation for maximum artistic freedom.
