Vocal health recovery

Just because you've had reflux, vocal nodules or muscle tension dysphonia (MTD) doesn't mean you can never again sing or speak with ease.

As an Estill Master Trainer, Stefan can help you to change your habits so that singing and speaking always feel comfortable.

If you have already been diagnosed by an ENT specialist and treated by a speech and language therapist, Stefan can help you to address tension issues, teach you to monitor your effort levels and assist your recovery.

60 minute sessions are recommended, either online or in-person. New clients are welcome to book a free online 15-minute consultation.

"Estill Voice Training has given me the tools to change my speaking voice, which has made a massive difference to my vocal health. Retraction in particular has become something I practice every day. I never thought that I would like a scientific approach, but understanding more about what's actually happening inside has made me a better artist. It's given me my confidence back."

How Estill Voice Training can help your vocal recovery

Estill Voice Training (EVT) is a scientific, evidence-based system for vocal development. Simple everyday sounds are used to identify structures in the larynx and in the vocal tract (throat, mouth and nose). These are then trained in detail to give conscious, predictable and reliable control of your voice. Knowing how to produce the sound you want safely and sustainably gives you confidence as you gradually build toward your singing and speaking goals.
